Capes Sokol is pleased to announce that Michael A. Kahn, senior counsel and chair of the firm’s Intellectual Property practice group, has published his 16th book, “Bad Trust.”
Kahn is the award-winning author of: eleven Rachel Gold novels; three standalone novels: Played!, The Sirena Quest, and, under the pen name Michael Baron, The Mourning Sexton, and several short stories. In March 2019, Mike co-authored, “The Art of Conflict: Tales from the Courtroom,” with Alan C. Kohn, a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and a veteran of over 100 trials.

On May 4, 2020, Mike will be interviewed about his book on St. Louis on the Air, a show produced by St. Louis Public Radio, a news organization and NPR member station.
In addition, Mike will be the featured speaker for a St. Louis Writers Guild Workshop on May 2, 2020. During the workshop entitled, “Contract Clauses: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly,” he will review several sample author contracts, provide negotiation tips, and answer questions. The free online workshop is hosted by the St. Louis Writers Guild, in cooperation with St. Louis Volunteer Lawyers and Accountants for the Arts (VLAA).
