As an attorney-CPA, Ross stands at the intersection of law and tax to provide his clients with key insights and advice that create value and drive results to the bottom line. Ross is sought after by high net-worth individuals, professionals, and entrepreneurs to provide holistic “one-stop-shop” legal and tax counsel and leadership. His practice includes tax planning and controversy, trust and estate planning, trust and probate administration, commercial contracts and leasing, and real estate acquisitions and divestitures. Ross’s clients include physicians and C-suite professionals, developers, retailers, and regional manufacturers crossing a variety of sectors including apparel, food and beverage manufacturing, farm supply, industrial and consumer products, and product distribution. Prior to joining Capes Sokol, Ross worked as a CPA for seven years at Caterpillar, Inc., a Fortune 100 company.
In the Community
Ross volunteers at the pro bono legal clinic organized by Legal Services of Eastern Missouri and hosted by Grace Hill Settlement House. This bimonthly clinic, part of LSEM’s Community Economic Development Program, provides low income entrepreneurs and non-profits with legal assistance for their organizations.
