Experience at Work
Nick focuses his practice on real estate transactions, as well as other corporate matters, including business entity formation, mergers & acquisitions, and other commercial transactions. Before joining Capes Sokol, Nick practiced at a local realty firm reviewing purchase and sale agreements for purchases of shopping centers and reviewing lease agreements between landlords and tenants of commercial properties. Prior to that, he spent time at a small litigation firm. Nick recently obtained a Professional Certificate in Corporate Finance from Columbia University’s edX School, ColumbiaX.
In the Community
Nick received his law degree from Washington University School of Law in May 2019, obtaining a Business Law Certification and was the Staff Editor of the Washington University Jurisprudence Review. Nick provides pro bono legal services for clients referred by Legal Services of Eastern Missouri Inc. He played NCAA Division I Soccer in undergraduate school and was a Patriot League Scholar-Athlete.

- Led legal efforts overseeing the closure of multi-million-dollar property acquisitions.
- Negotiated leases for a diverse portfolio, including ground, retail, and office spaces, totaling over 250,000 square feet.
- Provided legal representation to a national private real estate development firm.
- Specializes in leasing Class A office buildings situated in the Central Business District of Clayton, Missouri.
