Meyer Moderates Wash U Law’s Eliot Society Loop Trolley Event
On Thursday, April 12th, John S. Meyer, Jr., Capes Sokol Shareholder, moderated a panel of experts at the Washington University Spring Law Eliot Society Event. The topic was, “A Look at the Delmar Loop – Featuring an Update on The Loop Trolley Project” and took place at The Loop Trolley Barn.
The panel featured special guests Mary Campbell, Associate Vice Chancellor for Real Estate at Washington University in St. Louis; Bob Clark, Chairman and CEO at Clayco; Joe Edwards, Developer, Civic Leader and Chairman of the Loop Trolley Transportation Development District; and Joann Sandifer, Partner at Husch Blackwell.
Loop Trolley Project
The Loop Trolley is a 2.2-mile fixed-route electric trolley in St. Louis and University City which will link the Delmar Loop, one of America’s Great Streets, to the world-renowned Forest Park. Owned by the Loop Trolley Transportation Development District, the trolley system promotes connectivity and pedestrian-friendly neighborhoods, provides environmentally friendly transportation, increases tourism and spurs economic development.

The Washington University School of Law William Greenleaf Eliot Society is a like-minded network of people who believe in Washington University and work to maintain its continued excellence.
