Capes Sokol Sponsors 2019 St. Louis World Food Day
Capes Sokol was a proud sponsor of the 2019 St. Louis World Food Day, an annual food-packaging event to help feed hungry people living locally and abroad. The Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis organized area law firms to volunteer at the event, and successfully filled the gymnasium at John Burroughs School with lawyers and judges.
“The Bar Association of Metropolitan Saint Louis, and its Saint Louis Attorneys Against Hunger Committee, did a terrific job getting area law firms to come together for this event,” said Sara G. Neill, Capes Sokol Shareholder and current BAMSL President. “Our legal community raised $25,000 and over 110 lawyers and judges volunteered together, packing thousands of bags of food for the hungry.”

St. Louis Attorneys Against Hunger, an initiative of The Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, unites lawyers and other legal professionals with the St. Louis community to fight against homelessness and hunger in the St. Louis Metropolitan area.
