Capes Sokol Welcomes Lambert to the Firm
Capes Sokol announces that Kara L. Lambert has passed the Missouri Bar and joined the firm as an associate.
Kara’s practice will encompass a wide range of corporate matters, including commercial transactions, business entity formation, mergers & acquisitions, and real estate. She will practice as a part of the firm’s Business and Finance; Real Estate; and Intellectual Property practice groups.
Kara started at Capes Sokol in 2020 as a summer associate and continued working with the firm as a law clerk throughout her 3L year. Prior to joining the firm, she worked as a research assistant for Professor Howard Brill, former Chief Justice of the Arkansas Supreme Court, and as an extern for Arkansas Supreme Court Justice Courtney Hudson.
Kara received her law degree, cum laude, in 2021 from the University of Arkansas (“UA”) School of Law, where she held the position of Secretary of the Student Bar Association. She also served on the editorial board of the Journal of Food Law and Policy, a nationally recognized publication covering a wide variety of dynamic issues affecting food law and its impact on society. During law school, Kara gained valuable trial and negotiation experience through her participation in several UA Client Advocacy Competitions.
Kara graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in political science and minoring in legal studies.
