Dove Joins Capes Sokol

The law firm of Capes Sokol is pleased to announce that Douglas S. Dove has joined the Firm as Counsel in the Business & Finance and Real Estate Practice Groups.

Doug brings a wealth of experience in complex banking, commercial and construction transactions. He began his career as a general practitioner in his hometown of Shelbyville, Illinois, where he continues to serve on the Board of Directors of both Shelby County Bancorp, Inc. and Shelby County State Bank. In St. Louis, Doug previously practiced with Rabbitt, Pitzer & Snodgrass and Schlichter, Bogard & Denton.

Doug is a graduate of the Washington University Law School (1992) and holds a bachelor’s degree from DePauw University (1989). His diverse experience includes FELA work; right of way work for AT&T and affiliated telecommunications companies (involving litigation and transactions) around the country; complex commercial and construction dispute litigation; bank lending and regulatory compliance; and a variety of commercial transactions.
