Michael L. Schechter Named 2026 Legal Champion by Missouri Lawyers Media

As a seasoned family law attorney with more than three decades of experience, Schechter brings a deep commitment to guiding clients through complex and sensitive matters such as divorce, asset division, child custody, and related family law issues. He chairs Capes Sokol’s Family Law Practice Group, established to further elevate the firm’s capabilities in providing thoughtful, strategic legal representation.
Schechter’s legal acumen has been recognized extensively throughout his career.
