Alexandra (Alex) Schenk, Capes Sokol’s Marketing Manager, was selected by St. Louis Small Business Monthly as one of the “2019 Marvelous Millennials.” This award honors a generation of professionals for their ability to lead and for making a difference in the community and their companies.

Brian J. Sabin

Brian J. Sabin counsels businesses on all types of legal matters, throughout all stages of their lifecycle, from entity formation and startup, to maturity and disposition. In his real estate practice, Brian represents landlords, tenants, property owners, developers and investors, in real estate transactions and disputes. In his banking and finance practice, Brian represents borrowers and lenders, and has led several $100+ million loan transactions. In addition to representing for-profit businesses, Brian advises prominent non-profit organizations throughout the St. Louis region.

Brian is a native St. Louisan committed to the betterment of the St. Louis region. He serves on the Board of Directors for HavenHouse St. Louis, is a graduate of the FOCUS St. Louis Emerging Leaders Program, and is an active member of the Urban Land Institute. Brian frequently provides pro bono legal services for clients referred by St. Louis Volunteer Lawyers and Accountants for the Arts and volunteers at a pro bono legal clinic organized by Legal Services of Eastern Missouri and hosted by Grace Hill Settlement House.

Alexandra W. Schenk

Alexandra Schenk is Marketing Manager for Capes Sokol, a position she has held since 2015. Alex is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of marketing plans in accordance with the firm, practice group, and individual strategic goals, as well as providing general business development coaching to firm attorneys. In addition, she manages the firm’s traditional print materials, events, communications, website, sponsorships, and social media to strengthen the firm’s overall market awareness.

Alex is actively involved in the St. Louis region. She is Vice President of the Board of Directors and 2019 Midsummer Night’s Drink Event Chair for the Arts and Education Council of Greater St. Louis’s Young Friends of the Arts, which supports over 70 arts organizations in the bi-state region. For the past four years, Alex has been a member of the Planning Committee for the Justice for All Ball, an annual event that serves as the main fundraiser for Legal Services of Eastern Missouri. In addition, Alex was selected for the leadership position of Communications Chair for the 2017 and 2018 Legal Marketing Association Midwest Technology Conference, one of the largest conferences dedicated to technologies that law firm professionals use to identify, attract and support clients.
