Capes Sokol Sponsors 2019 BAMSL Bench & Bar Conference
Capes Sokol is proud to be a platinum sponsor of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis’ 2019 Bench and Bar Conference. The annual event will be held at the Camden on the Lake Resort on May 29 – 31, 2019.
Sara G. Neill, Capes Sokol Shareholder, will deliver the Welcome and Opening Remarks at the conference. An active member of the BAMSL community, she was recently sworn in as the 2019- 2020 President of BAMSL. She is also serving as Co-Chair of this year’s conference.
Amy L. Fehr and Michelle F. Schwerin, Capes Sokol Shareholders, will present at the conference. Amy’s session entitled “Courtroom Etiquette and Ethics,” will discuss the role of tradition in the courtroom, strategies to rehabilitate oneself following a breach of etiquette before the court, and the balance between advocacy and candor in the courtroom.
Michelle’s session entitled “What You Didn’t Learn in Law School: Practical Tips for a Successful Career in Law,” will discuss panelists career paths, current positions, mentorship, and the most important things they learned throughout their professional development.
