Goodman Challenges the Constitutionality of Atlanta Taxicab Ordinances
On July 2, 2013, Mark E. Goodman, on behalf of his clients, Delta Cab Association, Inc. and Workeshet Cherinet Wmichael, filed suit against the City of Atlanta, Georgia.
The suit alleges that the City’s taxicab ordinances, with respect to the City’s issuance of CPNCs, company permits and driver permits were unconstitutional, in that they violate both the due process and equal protection clauses of the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution.
