Kahn Elected as Shareholder
The law firm of Capes Sokol is pleased to announce that Michael A. Kahn has been elected a Shareholder of the firm.
“Mike Kahn has been a tremendous asset to this firm due to his exceptional legal background and skill,” said Jeffrey A. Cohen, Managing Shareholder of Capes Sokol. “Mike’s innate leadership skills and acquired proficiency of Intellectual Property law will lead the firm’s ongoing efforts to grow our IP practice. We look forward to Mike into a expanded role where he can have greater impact on the entire firm.”
Michael, a Harvard Law School graduate, concentrates his practice in copyright, trademark, First Amendment and media law, including libel and privacy rights. He is a widely recognized trial lawyer in the area of general commercial litigation, and regularly advises clients on a range of intellectual property matters.
In addition to his active practice, Mike is an adjunct professor at Washington University School of Law, where he teaches an upper level course on Censorship and Free Expression. He is also the award-winning author of numerous novels and short stories.
