Sarachan Receives Distinction as Missouri Lawyers Media 2026 ICON Award Recipient
Capes Sokol proudly announces that Missouri Lawyers Media (“MLM”) has selected Gary R. Sarachan, senior counsel, as a 2026 ICON Award Recipient.
Only 30 attorneys and judges from around the state received this distinction.
These awards are given to distinguished men and women attorneys aged 60 and older in recognition of their exemplary careers and longstanding commitment to the Missouri legal community. Whether active or retired, honorees must hold or have held a senior position with significant decision-making authority for their firm or organization.
Gary is a founding member of Capes Sokol and has dedicated more than 50 years to the practice of law. An accomplished trial attorney, he has built a distinguished career representing businesses in complex litigation matters, including commercial disputes, shareholder litigation, and professional disciplinary proceedings. Throughout his career, Gary has also served the legal profession through numerous leadership roles, including appointments by the Missouri Supreme Court to its Regional Disciplinary Committee and Disciplinary Hearing Panel. In addition to his legal practice, he has shared his knowledge and experience as an adjunct professor teaching trial practice at Washington University School of Law.
