Capes Sokol Welcomes Experienced Business & Real Estate Associate Timothy R. Schweiss
Capes Sokol proudly announces that Tim Schweiss has joined our Business & Real Estate Practice Group as an associate attorney. With an impressive background in both law and accounting, Tim brings knowledge and expertise to the firm that will enhance the services we provide to our clients.
Tim earned his Master of Accountancy and a tax certificate from the University of Missouri and completed his Juris Doctor at Saint Louis University School of Law with concentrations in Employment Law and Securities Regulations. His professional journey includes experience in private practice and as in-house counsel, which enables him to offer clients tailored legal solutions that align with their unique needs. Tim also holds a SHRM-CP certification, further enhancing his ability to navigate employment law matters.
Tim demonstrates dedication not only to providing exceptional service to clients but also to actively contributing to the community. Since 2023, he has served as a board member and Finance Committee member for Forest Park Forever Young Friends. During law school, he led the Tax Law Club as President from 2020 to 2021. Outside of his professional and community commitments, Tim enjoys conservation, soccer, and spending quality time with his family.
