Capes Sokol is pleased to announce the addition of attorney Charles H. Nitsch as Counsel to the Firm’s Business and Real Estate and Litigation Practice Groups. Charles brings extensive experience in regulatory compliance, commercial finance, and risk management for financial institutions, making him a valuable asset to the Firm and its clients. 

With a strong background in banking and commercial finance law, Charles has advised Fortune 1000 financial companies, guiding them through complex legal landscapes and mitigating risks. His expertise spans the full lifecycle of financial transactions, from deal origination to closing and servicing, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and industry best practices.

At Capes Sokol, Charles will counsel clients on high-value loan structuring, contract negotiation, litigation management, and risk mitigation strategies. He also provides legal oversight to ensure the proper perfection of security interests and the resolution of complex title issues on mortgaged property. His extensive experience in real estate transactions, title disputes, and loan documentation allows him to develop tailored legal solutions that address the unique challenges of the financial sector.

Charles earned his Juris Doctor from Saint Louis University School of Law in 2003 and holds a Bachelor of Arts from Webster University. His deep understanding of federal and state regulations, coupled with a proven track record of optimizing legal processes and minimizing risk exposure, makes him a strong addition to the firm.
