The law firm of Capes, Sokol, Goodman & Sarachan, P.C., is pleased to announce that Amy L. Fehr has been elected a shareholder of the firm.

“Amy Fehr is an experienced business litigator, possessing unique legal talents and skills,” said Jeffrey A. Cohen, Managing Shareholder. “Her litigation knowledge and leadership will be of substantial value to the firm, as well as our local, regional and national clients.”

Amy Fehr is an experienced litigator who has successfully tried several matters to verdict. She also provides strategic counseling services to her clients to mitigate risk and resolve disputes absent litigation. Amy regularly works with organizations and individuals to resolve a wide variety of complex civil and commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, real estate disputes, shareholder disputes, commercial negligence and fraud, non-competition and non-solicitation agreements, indemnification, insurance coverage disputes and wrongful death, and professional liability matters.

Amy has also represented aggrieved investors in arbitrations before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and defended employers against claims for discrimination before the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Missouri Commission on Human Rights.

Amy earned a J.D. at Saint Louis University School of Law and a B.A., with Honors, in English with Political Science Minor at the University of Missouri-Columbia.
