Fehr & Goodman Receive 2016 Up & Coming Awards
Mark E. Goodman and Amy L. Fehr, Capes Sokol Shareholders, have been selected by Missouri Lawyers Weekly to receive awards in special categories at the 2016 Up & Coming Lawyers Awards.
The Up & Coming Awards recognize young attorneys who, “epitomize excellence in the legal community and are identified as leaders in their community-at-large.” In addition to the general category, Missouri Lawyers Weekly recognizes attorneys in four special categories.
Mark E. Goodman is one of the four experienced legal professionals selected statewide to receive the Mentor Award. This award is annually presented to seasoned attorneys, “who have played an important role in the development of those starting out in the profession.” Amy L. Fehr will receive the Up & Coming Law Firm Leader Award. This award is presented to “early-career professionals who hold important leadership positions at their firms.”
Mark, Co-Chair of the Capes Sokol Litigation group, is a highly-skilled litigator with broad experience encompassing over forty-three years in commercial litigation areas. He represents clients in complex litigation matters including construction disputes, non-competition litigation, intellectual property, employment issues, real estate, insurance coverage, shareholder disputes and investor fraud.
Amy, a graduate of the Saint Louis University School of Law, is an experienced litigator who frequently represents business entities in commercial litigation matters. Amy’s practice is focused on complex contract and other business disputes including shareholder disputes, business separation, fiduciary disputes, commercial fraud, and employment related matters.
The fifty-eight honorees will have featured profiles in a future issue of Missouri Lawyers Weekly and will be honored in early October at the Missouri Athletic Club in downtown St. Louis.
