Neill & Schwerin to Present on Important Civil and Criminal Developments at 2020 ABA Virtual Tax Meeting

On September 29th, Capes Sokol shareholders, Sara G. Neill and Michelle F. Schwerin, will present to many of the country’s leading tax attorneys and government officials at the American Bar Association’s Virtual 2020 Fall Tax Meeting

Michelle and Sara will provide updates on “Important Civil Developments” and “Important Criminal Developments”, respectively, in the tax enforcement area, on behalf of the Tax Section’s Civil and Criminal Tax Penalties Committee (“CCTP”).

The four-day event, targeted towards every member of the tax law community, offers over 40 CLE programs regarding the latest federal, state, and local tax policies, two plenary sessions and virtual networking opportunities. This is the ABA Tax Section’s first virtual section meeting and fall tax programming event.
