Capes Sokol is pleased to announce that it has executed a 10-year lease for a new, expanded office space in the Regions Centre, a few blocks west of its current office at the Pierre Laclede Center.

When construction is complete, the firm will occupy the top two floors of the Regions Centre, totaling approximately 34,000 square feet of premium office space in the heart of Clayton’s business district. The new space is over 40 percent larger than Capes Sokol’s current office, which was expanded in 2014 and 2016.

“In the last four years, the firm has experienced moderate, strategic growth,” said Managing Shareholder, Jeffrey A. Cohen. “We have expanded our service areas adding Trusts & Estates and Digital Currency & Blockchain Technology practice groups.  We have also added attorneys in areas including Intellectual Property and Litigation.”

“Despite Capes Sokol’s growth, the firm is committed to remaining a mid-sized, St. Louis-based law firm,” continued Cohen. “The expanded space was necessary to accommodate the number of attorneys we need to service the firm’s local, regional and national clients. We are planning a redesigned office that will offer dynamic, collaboration-based working spaces and will accommodate new attorney and practice group development consistent with Capes Sokol’s strategic plan and the vision our shareholders have for the future of the firm.”

Jeff Altvater and Rebecca Thessen, office brokers with Hilliker Corporation, represented Capes Sokol. Hilliker Corporation, which targets regional and national entrepreneurs, is St. Louis’ largest independently owned commercial real estate company.
